Estrella: State your name and what you do in the band.
Blake: Blake, I play guitar.
Estrella: How long has the band been around for?
Blake: About 3 years? Ya, about that.
Estrella: How did all the members meet?
Blake: Chad [singer/bass player] and I met in middle school. We met Ryan [other guitar] through friends. Met Juan because we were taken fans [his previous band.]
Estrella: Who are some of your influences?
Blake: Hmm... Some bands that I listen to are Radiohead, Coldplay, No Knife, Minus the Bear, I dunno. Some good stuff, they don't really influence me 'cause I can't write as well as them, but they do inspire me.
Estrella: Who writes most of the songs lyric wise? And also musically wise?
Blake: Lyrically, all Chad. Musically, the whole band just jams 'till we like somethin'.
Estrella: How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it?
Blake: Ummmm. Kids who have absolutely NO idea what they're doing!
Estrella: What would you be doing if you weren't in a band?
Blake: Recording bands and wishing I was playing in a band.
Estrella: What do you enjoy most about being in a band?
Blake: Meeting wonderful people [i.e. Jay, Amy, and Jessi at Fiddler [Records]] and just playin' music.
Estrella: What do you like about your fans?
Blake: They are almost always nice. Normal people that just enjoy music.
Estrella: What are you currently listening to?
Blake: The bands I listed above pretty much. The new Modest Mouse is really good.
Estrella: What are your goals for the band?
Blake: Have fun. Hopefully, get better and better.
Estrella: Do you have good tour stories? If so, please state one.
Blake: Haha, we haven't done extensive touring yet, but we will! SOOOOOON!
