Estrella: Could you please state your name and what you do in the band.
Chris: My name is Chris Cron and I'm the singer and keyboard/piano player.
Mike: My name's Mike and I play drums.
Ryan: I'm Ryan and I play bass.

Estrella: How has your stint with the Junior Varsity and Bayside been so far?
Mike: It's been fabulous and no other words can describe it.
Estrella: Could one of you give me a rundown of how all the members met?
Chris: Rick and Ryan met in preschool and then I met them in junior high. We had all been jamming and playing in a band before and we needed a new drummer because our previous drummer quit and our manager at the time said, "I know this 16 year old kid" and we're all like 21, so we were just like "Oh man 16 year old is too young for us" but we didn't have anyone else to try out, so we tried him out and now we love him.
Estrella: If you were to describe your music to someone, how would you describe it?
Chris: Good.
Estrella: Who are some of your personal influences and as a band.
Chris: Everything from...
Mike: Dave Matthews Band, Stevie Wonder.
Ryan: Radiohead and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Led Zepplin!
Chris: Just a mix of everything. Everything from Bosanova to Jazz and Metal and Pop/Rock.
Rick: We watch a lot of jazz videos and rock videos and we listen to Queen CDs.
Chris: Pop/Rock, I tried to narrow it down.
Estrella: Who are you currently listening to?
Ryan: John Legend.
Chris: Yeah, John Legend.
Mike: Josh Groban.
Ryan: Anything that starts with a J.
Mike: Justin Timberlake.
Chris: Jamaraqui. New Scissor Sisters.
Estrella: If you were stranded on a desert island and you could take three things to take with you, what would they be?
Chris: A book on how to survive on a desert island. My bible and...
Rick: Ipod?!
Chris: No, they would run out of batteries. How about a machete.
Estrella: Any really good tour stories recently?
Mike: This band Wheatus tried to fight us.
Estrella: I remember them! "Teenage Dirtbag"...
Ryan: Which turns out it was true.
Rick: We hit a deer once, then we ate it.
Estrella: Best Halloween costume you've ever worn.
Mike: I dressed up like the Bride of Frankenstein when I was in the 6th grade.
Ryan: Rick and I both dressed up as the Columbian coffee guy for one Halloween. We were both the same guy, that was my favorite.
Estrella: Best and worst subjects in high school.
Chris: English was the best and the worst.
Mike: Best was History.
Chris: History was one of the best.
Estrella: What can we expect from you guys in the future?
Chris: Global domination.
Estrella: Is there any bands that you would like to plug into this interview that you don't feel are getting enough attention?
Ryan: Satisfaction from Orange County, FL. They used to be a band called Smile, they had a modern rock hit in the early 90s and they were freaking amazing and they don't get enough attention. Satisfaction!
Chris: The Beatles, they don't get enough attention.
Rick: This band called Hours.
Chris: Lakes. Remember Watashi Wa? It's the guy from Watashi Wa's new band - Lakes. It's good stuff.
Estrella: Any closing statements?
Mike: Check us out on myspace.com/meleerocks.
