The Mae CD was something that I fell in love with as soon as it entered my cd player in my car and the more I listened to it the more I loved it. I took quite a liking to the song, "Skyline Drive." Which is now my favorite song on the CD. The frontman of the band in my opinion has a unique voice. His voice to me is very soothing and enjoyable and I can be in any kind of mood to listen to.

The CD starts off with the song, “Embers and Envelopes”, which is a kinda poppy song and very easy going to listen to. The next track, “This Time Is The Last Time” is a little bit more harder a little bit more rock. Not that you can use the word “hard” when it comes to the band Mae. But I just did. Every song on the cd is amazing. “All Deliberate Speed”, “Runaway”, “Sun”, “Last Call”, and “Summertime”, are all great songs. “Soundtrack For Your Movie”, is probably the song that you flat out would call pop but you still love it even if your not into that genre of music. “Skyline Drive”, “Giving It Away”, and "Goodbye Goodnight”, are definitely my 3 favorites. When I hear them I think of romance and love, but also a little hint of frustration and sadness. The entire CD is beautiful and something you should pick up during you next stop to the record store.
