[interview by Natalie]

Estrella: Can you state your name and what you do in the band?
Snowhite: My name is Snowhite and I sing.

Estrella: How is this tour going and how did you end up on it?
Snowhite: This is our first show tonight and we are in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and it is really nice here. We are excited to play tonight, I am thinking it is going to go well and hopefully it does.
Estrella: What coast are you guys going to tour on this one?
Snowhite: East coast.
Estrella: How long is it going to last?
Snowhite: It goes until about May 9th, I think.

Estrella: What is your favorite song to perform live and why?
Snowhite: My favorite song to perform live would have to be 'Party'. It is the first song we do, and it gets me in the mood to do more songs.
Estrella: Is that the one that automatically starts playing on your myspace?
Snowhite: Yeah, yeah that's the one.
Estrella: Okay, I like that one a lot.
Snowhite: Oh okay, cool, cool.

Estrella: I read there were over 200 songs written before your debut album came out, how did you end up choosing what songs went on the album?
Snowhite: It was kind of like a cancellation process, I think the first people I took them to was my band and I was like, "What songs would you want out of these ones?" I think there were fifty songs that they picked. Then I gave it to the record company and was like, "What songs out of these would you want to use?" Then, we cut it down to thirty and then I cut it down to fifteen out of those thirty, and then they cut it down to twelve out of those fifteen, so we just did it like that.

Estrella: How long did it take you to record your self titled debut?
Snowhite: Well it was all done over five years of recording music in my basement because I used to just record in my basement. But the stuff on the record through is the newer stuff that I was getting into. I have a lot of different stuff; Ive got a lot of electronic stuff, all kinds of stuff. I have a whole library of different things.
Estrella: How did you end up getting into music?
Snowhite: As an avid listener I developed a liking towards music and realized that I could do it. I made music for myself to listen to because I liked music and I just liked to listen to my songs. I would make these songs so I would have something new to listen too and it just ended up people liking them, so I started this.

Estrella: How did you guys end up getting signed to Atlantic Records?
Snowhite: My mom sent in a CD to them and they were going through a merge with Elektra and I guess somebody answered the phones when they were not supposed too. Luck of the draw.

Estrella: Is there a song out right now that you never get sick of hearing?
Snowhite: Any song out there right now, let me think. I really like that new P. Diddy and Keyshia Cole song.
Estrella: What's it called? I havent heard it, I don't think.
Snowhite: I don't know but it goes, (sings) last night couldn't even get an answer. You know that song? I like that song; I'm singing that one every time it comes on.

Estrella: What is something you have always wanted to do, but have not done yet?
Snowhite: Hear one of my songs sang by somebody else on a record.
Estrella: You mean like a cover song?
Snowhite: No, I would like to write songs for other people. I am trying to do that and I have yet to get somebody who wants to use one yet. But I just got into it, so...
Estrella: If you could have any singer, sing one of the songs you wrote who would it be?
Snowhite: Thats a good question, well you know that singer Cassie? The one that sings 'Me and You,' I wrote a song and I could totally see her singing it, and I just want her to sing it.

Estrella: If you could see any band or artist perform any song live, what would it be?
Snowhite: I think I would want to see Prince perform, 'Do Me Baby.'
Estrella: Have you ever seen him live?
Snowhite: No, I've never seen him live and I really wanted too. I wouldn't want to see him right now because he probably just does his new stuff. I've heard he doesn't like to bring up his old stuff for some reason. I wish I would have seen him back in the day. I would like to watch him do that song because it is an eight minute song and the five minutes at the end he is just making sex noises and I just want to see what he does.

Estrella: Do you have any last comments?
Snowhite: Just do what you want in life, and don't do what other people tell you too.
