Estrella: Could you please state your name and what you do in the band.
Robert: Robert, I play guitar and sing lead vocals.
Ty: Ty and I play bass.
Kyle: I'm Kyle, I play guitar.
Estrella: How did all of your members meet?
Robert: Me and Kyle used to play in a band together when we were in 6th grade or something. Then me and Ty played together in a band when were in high school. We jammed for a long time. We met our drummer the first year of college or something like that.
Estrella: Who are your biggest influences as to why you wanted to have a band?
Robert: At the time, it was kind of just to get out of where I live, that's not really the reason anymore. But I thought that they we had something solid written and good songs from home and we were coming from no where and I thought the song were solid and that was inspiring to do a band. People seemed to like the songs, so it added to, and I thought that was cool. I have friends in other bands and they kind of influenced me wanting to do it.
Kyle: I just did it because it was fun. I had a guitar when I was 15, I had a friend that was a drummer, and I would just go over his house and play it.
Ty: Same thing.
Estrella: What do you believe you'd be doing if you weren't in a band?
Robert: I'd probably be a completely different person, a soccer player or something. I don't know. It's hard to think about. I don't know.
Ty: I'd probably work in retail.
Kyle: Going to school, driving around, being in Canada.
Estrella: What is your music scene back home?
Robert: We have tons of kids that go out to shows. A lot of kids have their own bands.
Estrella: When it came to signing with Tooth & Nail, how did that come about?
Robert: We made a demo and a friend of ours who was managing us, gave it to them and they liked what we had to say and they put out our CD.
Estrella: Why did you decide on having a remix for the song, "Get Ready?"
Robert: Mostly because remixes are cooler than the actual song.
Estrella: Who produced your album and how long was the recording process?
Robert: This guy named Steve Wilson, he's done a lot of big bands like uhh nobody? (jokingly) and we took two months to record it.
Estrella: Did you record it in Mississippi?
Robert: We went out to Nashville, TN.
Estrella: Best Halloween costume you've ever worn?
Robert: We tried to do something funny for Halloween and no one laughed. Kyle wore a rhinestone cowboy suit.
Kyle: A one piece.
Robert: A one piece rhinestone cowboy suit.
Ty: But it wasn't funny. It was funny to us.
Estrella: Favorite breakfast cereal?
Robert: Cinnamon Toast Crunch. That's all I eat, cereal.
Kyle: Honey Bunches of Oats.
Ty: Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds.
Estrella: If you were stranded on a desert island, what are 3 things that you would take with you?
Robert: Stranded on a desert island? Satellite cellphone and a lifetime supply of gasoline.
Ty: I would take water, a fishing pole...
Robert: You're surrounded by water.
Ty: It's sea water, you can't drink sea water. Water, a fishing pole, and uhm...
Robert: I would take Tom Hanks.
Mick I guess a drum set, a tent, and a satellite cellphone too.
Kyle: I'd take a bike...
Robert: With all that sand?
Kyle: Probably rats.
Robert: Haven't you ever seen Castaway?
Kyle: Yeah, there's rats. I would take water purification devices, so I could drink normal water - Britta. I'd take Britta, a bike, and a machete.
Robert: You know what I would take?
Estrella: You guys would probably get off that island pretty soon with satellite phones.
Estrella: 3 bands that you would like to plug that you don't feel are getting enough attention.
Mick Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco
Kyle: Foo Fighter.s
Robert: Hinder.
Ty: We really want to plug Colour Revolt.
Estrella: Colour Revolt comes here a lot, I thought they were from Maryland.
Robert: No, they're from Mississippi.
Kyle: Manchester Orchestra, Tyler Read.
Robert: With Showbread.
Estrella: Any upcoming tour plans?
Robert: No...
Estrella: Do you know if you'll be playing this year's Bamboozle?
Robert: We don't know about that yet. Maybe an acoustic tour this summer. That's about it.
Estrella: Upcoming future plans for the band?
Robert: Hopefully we'll get to record another CD soon. That should be a future plan.
Kyle: Writing.
Robert: Yup!
Estrella: Any closing statements?
Ty: Rock and roll!
